Implants

The explosive growth of implantology had changed the restorative landscape for dentists and patients alike. Robertson Dental Lab recognized the future role implants would play, committing early on, to becoming a leader in this area.

Today, that commitment and acquired expertise has led to valuable, collaborative working relationships with dentists, oral surgeons, and prosthodontists. This interdisciplinary collaboration often involves our technically skilled dental lab who understands the clinical as well as the restorative side of a case. Once again, value can be found at Robertson Dental Lab as the knowledgeable resource for case planning and execution for the best result.

Global Implant Fee

Robertson Dental Lab offers a unique approach to implant costs with our Global Implant Fee structure. Rather than multiple charges appearing on your invoice you will notice one fee. This fee includes model work, metal abutment, soft-tissue model, impression coping and labor!  There is an additional fee if high noble metal is used (our standard is noble) or if full cast restorations are requested. Zirconia abutments or atlantis designed abutments will incur additional charges.

IOS Scanning: We accept implant digital files via most IOS systems – Select Robertson Dental Lab in your system (see our resources tab for help with this process).

Implant Abutment Placement Jig

Implant abutment placement jig helps eliminate the guesswork in orienting an implant abutment. On the working model, a Robertson Dental Lab technician will screw in the implant abutment into it’s proper orientation. We then scan the abutment and design incorporating the adjacent teeth into the “wings” to stabilize the position of the jig. We then “print” the jig using our FormsLab resin printer to create an (SLA) model. A small red dot is placed on the facial of the jig to assist in orienting. At the time of placement, you simply place the abutment into the jig (it will only orient the correct way into the jig). Then place the whole jig assembly into the patients mouth, using the facial red dot and the wings to properly orient the abutment into to the implant. Once secured in place, simply screw the abutment into place through the screw access hole in the top of the jig. Using an Implant abutment jig insures that proper placement & seating of the implant abutment. Order your implant abutment placement jig with all your implant cases to increase speed and placement accuracy!
